How many times has the DC Universe been rebooted? How many reboots? I’m fairly new to comics, so I was wondering: how many times has DC rebooted the universe/multiverse? There have been only two hard reboots that completely changed the timelines.
Is the New 52 over?
The New 52 branding ended after the completion of the “Convergence” storyline in May 2015, although the continuity of The New 52 continued.
Is DC rebirth a good place to start? For the most part, Rebirth is one of the absolute BEST places to start reading comics. It delivers enough for old fans and serves as a good intro for new readers. However, the Batman comics and the major events of Rebirth (Doomsday Clock and Dark Knights Metal) may require some other reading.
