Heracross can be found in the Training Lowlands. Fortunately, it is one of the Pokemon that can be found wandering about in the overworld. Although, Heracross only has a 5% chance of making an appearance so it might be a while before it spawns into existence. Ride around on the bike until one finally spawns.

What is the point of Unown in Pokemon Gold? They come in 28 different forms that resemble the english alphabet and catching them will open up a new area and/or allow the player to collect a rare item. For players who only play through the gym/elite four part of the game (the main meat of the game/franchise) the Unknown are useless and serve no purpose.
